Fall 2019 Contest

The below schedule applies to the sessions being held at Muskingum University. If your school is a GamesByTeens Partner, your sessions and deadline may be different. The awards ceremony is the same for everyone, though.

Where: Muskingum University
When: September 21st, September 28th, October 5th, October 12th, Awards Ceremony October 19th
Times: 9am to noon for the learning sessions, 10 am to noon for the awards ceremony

Contestants can range from middle to high school age (generally 12 to 18 years old). Each contestant will be given four weeks to complete a video game based on a theme we will announce at the first session. We use the Game Maker program, which allows anyone to create a video game, even if you have not done any programming before.
